Feinstein Good Deeds Tree
We read and studied THE GIVING TREE by Shel Silverstein. We talked about how much the tree gave the boy and also how selfish the boy became. We thought about good deeds that we could do for someone just like the tree did for the boy. The results became this bulletin board.
Our tree stands on the edge of the baseball field on our school grounds. Using the seed pods and the leaves we researched to find out what kind of tree. James D. won our class contest and identified it as a Sycamore. Doesn't it look splendid in all its autumn glory?
