Trees are good for building houses, walls, floors, and a roof, tables, chairs, schools, cabinets, cabins, fences, playground toys, signs and sign posts. We use trees for paper, books, desks, pencils, picture frames, TV cabinets, and firewood. We love the fruit we get from trees, like pears, peaches, plums, and oranges. We get AIR from trees. And we love to climb them and hang swings in them!

Trees are a living link to history. I can look at a very old large tree and think about the fact that this tree was alive perhaps a hundred years ago and if it could talk I'm sure it would have stories to tell.
