Bluejays

Bluejays are seen all around the town.
They divebomb like cats when baby Jays are around.
They peck at other birds to keep them from berries, nuts and seeds.
Sometimes you see them eating in the weeds.

BLUEJAY

A full-grown bluejay is eleven inches long.The baby bluejay is ten inches.The bluejay`s colors are violet-blue and bright blue. Its feathers are black, white, and blue.
The bluejay lives in oak or pine forests.It eats berries, nuts, and seeds.The bluejay has two special adaptations. One is its bright colors warn preditors to stay away as it has a sharp beak.Its other one is that its underbelly is grayish-white to blend in with the sky.
