  Project Overview: While in cooperative learning groups, students will research former sites of the Olympic Games by utilizing the internet and reference books. They will perform mathematical computations based upon the final results of the male and female gymnastics or swimming events. All students will then use e-mail to share researched information with students from other schools.

  Project Overview: The purpose of this project is to allow the class to learn in a real world situation different types of averages by collecting data from distant and local e-mail locations . The students will learn how to organize, present, and interpret data.
