WELCOME TO A SMART PROJECT!

The following project is currently under progress by Rhode Island teachers. Although in some activities, the teachers have borrowed and adapted ideas from other teachers and current programs and sources on the Internet, the work is their own. The activities are displayed here in their original form , unedited as they have submitted them. In most cases, these are ongoing projects. The names, school districts, and email addresses of the authors are included. Please feel free to contact the authors with any suggestions, comments, or even participation.Teaching and learning are cooperative efforts.

SCITUATE HIGH SCHOOL'S FAVORITE MATH AND SCIENCE SITES ON THE INTERNET.

OVERVIEW:

The bookmarks found here are the result of surfing the Net. 'Surfing' is a time consuming process even when you have a specific task to complete. The bookmarks related to middle/secondary mathematics and science are a small beginning of resources of interesting mathematical and scientific topics that were found. They can initiate Internet investigations by mathematics and science teachers for enhancement of their curricula. Investigations on the Internet can open a vast information database that can only open new learning experiences for students and teachers.
